Christmas Cake
Ingredients
- 120 ml Brandy
- 400 gm cooking Butter
- 50 gm Caramel Color
- 500 gm mixed Dry Fruits
- 7 Eggs
- 375 gm Flour
- 120 ml Rum
- 250 gm Sugar For Marzipan
- 200 gm Almonds
- 1 drop Almond Essence
- 100 gm Milk
- 200 gm Sugar
- 2 Egg Whites For Royal Icing
- 200 gm Icing Sugar
- ½ tsp Vanilla Essence
- 200 gm stiff White
- Method
- Take a bowl and add all the ingredients into it.
- Now blend it well.
- Grease mould with butter.
- TYransfer cake mixture into mould.
- Bake it in an oven at 190 degree C for 45 minutes. Be careful to assure that the cake bakes well.
- De-mould and cool it for 45 minutes.
- To prepare Marzipan, make an almond paste and add egg whites, milk, sugar, essence, color. Now make leaves and flowers.
- Prepare royal icing by mixing all ingredients and spread it over the cake.
- Delicious Christmas Cake is ready to be served.
